Swag

"One of the beauties about this event is that it doesn't matter where you're from or how old you are. This is about doing, achieving and enjoying!"

The City to Surf kicked off in 1975 - Bob Johnstone has taken part every single year since, with his wife Alison taking part since 1977. They've seen the event grow and change over that time but keep coming back year after year to experience the family-friendly, positive atmosphere.

They're also passionate about the event's purpose - to fundraise for Activ and help support people living with disability across Western Australia.

So why not lace up your trainers and join them this year?

Your questions answered

Will there be fundraising this year?

Absolutely! The 2023 Chevron City to Surf for Activ will offer everyone the opportunity to raise vital funds to support Activ and people living with disability in WA.

Can I attend if I'm not taking on the challenge?

The event is a fun and rewarding experience, even if you don't feel like walking, running or rolling. The best way to still get involved is by volunteering, with more information on volunteer options available soon.

What will the funds I raise go towards?

Funds raised will directly support people living with disability, including through the development and growth of supported accommodation, training, the Activ Academy and the provision of various clinical and support services.

Any other questions?

"When you support the Chevron City to Surf for Activ, you're helping people just like me!"

Clare is a supported employee at Activ, where she's been working for the last 17 years. Over that time, she's been given ongoing training to build up her skills. She now works as a receptionist and office administrator.

Activ has a strong and proud history of supporting people with disability, just like Clare, to reach their goals, achieve their dreams and break through barriers.
